Amazing Smiles
Restorative Services

Most often, restorative dentistry addresses functional issues in the mouth, including biting, chewing, pain, discoloration, chipping, cracking, and decay. At Amazing Smiles Family Dentistry, your Newnan restorative dentist believes in comprehensive and whole-person dental care.

When it comes to restorative dentistry, our team will explain each step of the process along the way, starting with the consultation and then the treatments, to ensure that you reach your oral health goals. We offer single treatment options like inlays, implant restoration, fillings, or complex options like full-mouth restoration.

Full-mouth Restoration

Many people with complex dental issues, including extensive damage, decay, or missing teeth, are afraid that no simple solution exists. However, in line with our comprehensive care model, we proudly offer full-mouth restoration.

A full-mouth restoration is a multi-step option to repair complex or advanced damage and decay. This process may occur over multiple appointments and can include a mix of restorative, general, or cosmetic processes to restore your mouth’s overall function, health, and aesthetics.

Dental Implant Restoration

Dental implants work to replace missing teeth or other dental issues and usually include a mix of bridges, crowns, and other post-stabilized implants.

We can refer you to our trusted local surgeon for dental implant placement or surgical implant repair, then our office proudly offers crown restoration services to complete your dental implants.

Composite, Tooth-colored Fillings

Tooth fillings create a lasting and natural look to address both aesthetic and functional issues associated with chips, cracks, and decay. In the past, most fillings have been silver-colored, which stands out.

However, our practice utilizes composite fillings, which are color-matched to your teeth, to create a seamless fill that does not stand out in the same way as silver fillings.

Porcelain Inlays / Porcelain Onlays

For damage and decay that cannot be fixed with other restorative options, porcelain inlays and onlays may be a solid solution. As the name implies, these fillings are created from natural-colored and durable porcelain.

Onlays are laid over the tooth, while inlays fill the areas between dental cusps to repair decayed or misshapen teeth. These are generally created in a lab to custom-fit your mouth and are then fitted and bonded to your teeth in the office.

Crowns & Bridges

It’s no secret that missing or damaged teeth can cause additional pain, wear and tear and issues with smile confidence, biting, and chewing. Our practice offers bridges and crowns as a solution to missing or damaged teeth.

Crowns are color-matched caps placed on top of a damaged or decaying tooth and can even be put on top of a dental implant to restore a natural look. However, bridges replace missing teeth and are capped off with two crowns and “bridge” of artificial teeth.

Dentures & Partials

Missing teeth can lead to a fear of showing off your natural smile, issues with biting, chewing, and pain in the jaw and surrounding teeth. Our practice offers both full and partial denture options to resolve missing teeth.

Full dentures can be utilized to replace a full mouth of missing teeth and are color-matched. Partial dentures work to replace larger sections of missing teeth that do not encompass the entire mouth.
