Dr. Kimberly Chubb
Family Dentist
Dr. Kimberly Chubb, born in Macon, Georgia, traveled to Knoxville College to pursue her Bachelor’s degree. Dr. Chubb was an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and received her B.S. in 1991. She continued her post-graduate studies at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia and received her D.D.S. degree in 1997. After receiving this degree, Dr. Chubb enlisted to serve in the U.S. Navy and was commissioned as a Naval Dental Officer, serving for the next eight years and attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Chubb served for eight years and, throughout that time, had the opportunity to hone her dental skills in various areas with other accomplished dentists.
Outside of work, Dr. Chubb is married and has a son and daughter. Even while being a busy wife, mother, and dentist, Dr. Chubb finds time to let out her creative side through karaoke and exercise, and is a regular member of her church. When asked about her passion for dentistry, she stated, “It’s my privilege to serve my community, and I appreciate the trust that parents, families, and individuals have placed in me. We understand that visits to the dentist are not the most comfortable activity for many people, so we have worked hard to create an atmosphere where compassion, patience, listening, and understanding make it easier for our patients to get the care they need to stay healthy.”
As a lifelong learner devoted to patient wellness, Dr. Chubb maintains a variety of professional association memberships and consistent continuing education courses, leveling up the training and expertise she brings to her comprehensive dental care. Dr. Chubb also maintains consistent membership and participation in the American Dental Association, bringing innovative knowledge to her team and practice.
